You don’t have to be an expert to come up with a fantastic idea!
Thinking creatively about challenges and coming up with innovative solutions is a talent that requires suspension of disbelief.
It also requires us to put aside our preconceived notions based on our experience and knowledge of the world around us.
The more we know, the less we intuit.
Carbeth Eco was born out of a creative vision to help support and facilitate holistic and intuitive thinking. We want to attract people from all walks of life and bring them together to help face the economic, social and environmental challenges of our times.
Our vision is to provide the resources and expertise required to help people with great ideas realise their potential. We will provide a space where anyone can explore, create, engage and inspire.
To that end, we are currently building networks of university staff and students and technical experts from all disciplines. We are also pursuing several projects that combine different technologies to tackle problems of resource scarcity, waste management, energy consumption, health etc.
The learning’s from our own work and the work of others within our network will be accessible to anyone who would like to get involved. We are one of the only mechanisms that will put time and energy into your ideas without solid proof of concept or working models.
We are here to support the process at it’s initial phase and help to make your dreams a reality.
We support entrepreneurs by providing access to the resources necessary to facilitate advances in eco-technology solutions.
Carbeth Eco are based just outside Glasgow in Blanefield, where we have built our first Eco Innovation Centre for innovation projects.
We are already working on an exciting mix of different projects that contribute to one of the following five areas of human necessity; FOOD, WATER, SHELTER, ENERGY and FUN.
