Carbeth Eco Knowledge Incubator

Born out of a belief in the power of open innovation & collaboration in tackling environmental & social issues, Carbeth Eco supports entrepreneurs by providing access to the resources necessary to facilitate advances in Eco-Tech solutions.

Based just outside Glasgow in Blanefield, we have built our first Innovation Centre for Eco projects.  We are already working on an exciting mix of different projects that contribute to one of the following five areas of human necessity; FOOD, WATER, SHELTER, ENERGY and FUN.

    Our main focus at the Carbeth Eco Innovation centre is the extension of the plant growth season through a light-assisted means.

    Carbeth Eco are working with various prototype designs of closed loop, Aquaponic growing systems.

    New prototypes for semi permanent passive residential dwellings are being developed by the Carbeth Eco team.

    Phillips in the Netherlands has partnered with us to provide new advances in LED lighting technology for plant growth.

  • Fun

    Embracing the social element of inclusion through knowledge incubation, Carbeth Eco always designs a healthy portion of fun into projects.
